ARTIST BIO
After pitching songs in Nashville for 10 years to some of the biggest artists in country music, Jim finally began to perform his songs in Nashville music venues like Douglas Corner and the legendary Bluebird Cafe. This led to an opening spot at a music festival in Inman, South Carolina. Encouraged by the audiences' response, Jim made the inevitable decision to make a record.
For his debut album "whatever and ever", Jim recruited some of the most respected names in Nashville – banjo phenomenon Matt Menefee, notable mandolin player Ashby Frank and legendary fiddle player Wanda Vick. Prominent Nashville musician Chip Martin lent his considerable talents as second engineer. The album was mastered at Yes Master Studios by Jim DeMain, one of Nashville's most revered mastering engineers.
Jim is currently upgrading his Sloppy Finger Recording Studio in Atlanta and writing new material in preparation for his next album as he continues to build a following one show at a time.
